Quality of Life of Pregnant Women Attending Antenatal Clinic in a Teaching Hospital, Pokhara

Introduction: Although changes occur in various dimensions quality of life and it plays a significant role the health pregnant women, there are limited data on women. The objective study was to identify women.
 Methods: We conducted descriptive cross-sectional Gandaki Medical College Teaching Hospital Research Centre, Pokhara 167 women attending an antenatal clinic over one month period, selected by nonprobability purposive sampling technique. Data collection done using RAND SF-36 questionnaire. Descriptive statistics were used describe life. Inferential compare two independent groups three or more respectively.
 Results: Mean±SD score for 73.08±14.95 with 62.80±19.14 physical component 83.35±10.76 mental component. highest limitation due emotional lowest domain. Women who had planned pregnancies better scores general domain (p=0.005) wellbeing (p=0.011) compared those unplanned pregnancies.
 Conclusion: Since lower domains than domains, special attention should be given
